- Date
- 1791
- Notes
- This leaflet is one of the various revolutionary pamphlets housed at the Graduate Institute Library, dating from the French Revolution (1789-1799).
- Robespierre and Danton were two prominent Jacobin political figures in the first years of the French Revolution. As political opponents to the famous Marquis de Lafayette, leader of the National Guard, the Jacobins took him of being responsible for the dubbed Louis XVI’s family Flight to Varennes, in June 1791, as shown by this reproduction of Robespierre and Danton’s prosecution speeches.
